Challenge:

 

On a packaging line at a major food manufacturing plant, a horrible safety mishap had occurred with a hot melt adhesive dispensing machine. They were considering  a change to a Graco unit, but were still in the decision making process.

Solution:
 

A Graco sales team member contacted me to see if we could do a safety video showing how our unit would not allow that type of accident. They had a meeting on a

Friday and the request came on a Tuesday the same

week. I realized the potential sale hinged on them understanding how safe Graco was, so I shot footage in

our lab, combined some quick targeted animations, and sent the video out the night before the meeting. 

Results:
 

After showing the video in the meeting and discussing

the content, the food manufacturer placed a $250K order. And that was just for training. Sales team told me the video was a key to getting the sale. It also opened the door in other plants for additional product sales and several whole plant conversions that are pending.
